✨ Food Pantry & Clothing Closet Ministry
Pam’s Kitchen Serving the Community, in partnership with Providence Missionary Baptist Church, is blessed to announce the opening of our Food Pantry and Clothing Closet. This ministry is dedicated to meeting the needs of families and individuals with love, dignity, and compassion, reflecting Christ’s call to serve.
🕒 Hours of Operation

Open every Sunday at 12:30 PM, immediately following worship service.

Families will receive a voucher to shop in both the Food Pantry and Clothing Closet.

For emergency needs during the week, the Pantry and Closet will be available by appointment. Please call Sister Pamela Smith at 512‑954‑1756 to schedule.
🧺 Donation Guidelines We are gratefully accepting donations to support this ministry:

Clothing: All donated clothing must be clean. Used items should be freshly laundered.

Undergarments: Must be brand new and in their original packaging.

Blankets, Coats, and Shoes: Accepted with the same guidelines — items must be clean and ready to bless another family.

🙏 Our Mission in Scripture This ministry is rooted in the Word of God, reminding us of our calling to care for one another:

Hebrews 13:16 (KJV) – “But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.”

Isaiah 58:10 (KJV) – “And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noonday.”

Through these scriptures, we are reminded that serving others is serving Christ Himself. We look forward to blessing our church families and the wider community, walking in obedience to God’s Word and shining His light through acts of love and generosity.

💝 How You Can Help
We are currently accepting donations to support this outreach:

Monetary donations to help stock and sustain the pantry

Non-perishable food items such as canned goods, rice, pasta, and shelf-stable snacks
Donations can be dropped off at the church or coordinated through our team.

We are currently accepting clothing donations. If you’d like to contribute:

Drop-offs can be made at the church during regular hours or after service

Providence Missionary Baptist Church is honored to partner with Pam’s Kitchen Serving the Community Inc. to bless families each holiday season.
Every Thanksgiving, we prepare and distribute Thanksgiving Food Boxes filled with all the traditional trimmings needed to create a complete, comforting holiday meal.
This outreach is a reflection of our shared mission: to serve with love, dignity, and generosity—ensuring no family goes without during this season of gratitude
Christmas Gift Basket Outreach
Providence Missionary Baptist Church is blessed to partner with Pam’s Kitchen Serving the Community Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, in a special holiday mission of love and care.
Together, we have adopted a local nursing home to bring joy to senior residents who may not have the opportunity to go home for the holidays. This Christmas season, we will be delivering gift baskets filled with thoughtful items, warm wishes, and heartfelt cheer.
During a time when many seniors feel isolated, our goal is to remind them that they are seen, loved, and remembered. Each basket is a small token of the deep compassion and community spirit that defines our ministry.
Back-To School Bash-July Celebration
Each July, Providence Missionary Baptist Church hosts a lively Back-to-School Bash to celebrate and support children in our community before the school year begins.
This fun-filled event includes:

Trunk or Treat – October Celebration
Each October, Providence Missionary Baptist Church hosts a festive Trunk or Treat event to provide children in our community with a safe, fun-filled alternative to traditional trick-or-treating.
Families are invited to enjoy:
